Thank you so much for choosing to step back in time and enjoy a"cuppa tea" with our family. Everyone that works in our store is part of our extended family and they all have contributed in helping to make our humble Tea House a lovely place to visit. This Teahouse became a visions of mine sometime ago, and with the help of many loyal customers it has now become a wonderful reality.
All of the furnishing in the dining room have a bit of history attached to them. Some of the furniture you may be sitting on or eating from comes from several parts of the united Stated and around the world. Some were once used as treasured family tables and chairs or a favorite lamp from which to read. Think of the many conversations over the last 100 years that these pieces hold, if only they could talk. How many women passed the gold mirror on the wall and looked inside to see their reflection? How many more women will pass it today and will do the same? I love to listen to the "Victrola" and picture the many couples, in the past, who have held each other close and danced to its sweet music. When I purchased it, I played its music for my in-laws and watched as they gathered each other in their arms and began to dance ever so spontaneously. I am sure the music has brought many of these magical moments, and if you feel such a moment come upon you, please do not hesitate to rise to the occasion.
I hope that in entering into this Teahouse you have gained a bit of peace and comfort with your friends, family or loved ones. It has been our pleasure to serve you and hope you will come again to share a "cuppa tea" soon.
Warmest regards,
Ms. Thomas and Family
